Relationship Manager (Contract, Remote)
Speechless is looking for a Relationship Manager who can work with our revenue team to build rapport with Speechless prospects and clients around the world. This position would start as a contract, commission-based position with the potential to grow into a full-time role.
As a Relationship Manager, you’ll champion improv thinking to teams and individuals that align with our mission: to help people “be themselves and be heard.” You’ll do this by identifying companies that share our core values of humor, authenticity, collaboration, empathy, and innovation and educating them on our offerings. Ultimately, you’ll guide them to make a decision that results in a working relationship with Speechless that leaves them--well--speechless.

What you'll do:
Identify companies that are aligned with our core values and generate conversations and opportunities
Identify internal champions of Speechless, improvisation, and soft skill development within said companies
Identify key decision-makers that said internal champions can approach in order to amplify our mission and services
Meet with internal champions and decision-makers in order to establish new relationships and grow existing relationships
Track progress of each client relationship using sales and project management tools including monday.com, Slack, and Xero
Create, send and track Client Proposals
Attend weekly Relationship Manager Sales check-ins
Secure Revenue for new and existing client relationships based on assignments and projections given by Director of Revenue
What you'll bring:
Humor and authenticity
At least 2 years of sales experience (experience in the events, learning & development, or human resources industries is particularly helpful, though not required)
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with and become a trusted advisor to clients
Understanding of sales processes and tools
Experience selling to various industries and teams (sales, events, engineering,
